Sound Designer - Theatre

Notes:

An inside look into the vaudevillian era, this show used recordings many classic comedy sketches and music from the retro 1950s, as well as the creation of a 1970s era soap opera.

The Sunshine Boys

Directed by Keith Baker

February 2020

Notes:

For this classic show, original theme music was created to symbolize the magical and other-worldliness quality of certain characters (listen here).

Voices Of The Eighth:

Rhythms of Resilience

Sankofa African American Theatre Company

Written and Directed

by Sharia Benn

February 2018

Notes:

This show used flashback sound effects and projections of the past to tell the forgotten stories of Harrisburg's history. I was also the A/V Designer.

Notes:

To create a film-esque quality for this thriller comedy, I filled this show with original music for classic jump scares, quirky characters, and a haunted train.

The Ghost Train

by Arnold Ridley

Centenary Stage Co.

Directed by

Carl Wallnau

October 2019

Notes:

For this classic show, original theme music was created to symbolize the magical and other-worldliness quality of certain characters (listen here).

The Tempest

by William Shakespeare

Messiah College

Directed by

Daniel Inouye

November 2018

Notes:

The Director's vision cast this show in the light of a cheesy horror film. To achieve this, the soundscape of a creaky house created the eerie atmosphere for a minimalistic set.

This unique one act play set in the Crusades era received soundscapes and all original music to define fight scenes and dramatic tension (Listen Here).

Notes:

This show presented some unique stylistic choices, including the use of wind chimes to symbolize changes in the main characters.

Notes:

Based off of the mythical Greek tragedy "Orpheus and Eurydice", original music was made for Orpheus' "Symphony of 12 Instruments".
